    Frequently asked questions

Is the AI mind map generator free?

Local editing and export are free with no account. AI features require Google sign-in and share 30 free calls per account each month, resetting on the 1st at 00:00 Beijing time (UTC+8), with no rollover. The site is supported by ads.

    Which export formats are supported?

You can export SVG vector images, high-resolution PNG images, and the Markdown source. SVG scales without loss; PNG is ready for documents and social sharing.

Can I edit the mind map with Markdown?

Yes. Use # headings for levels and - lists for branches, and the map updates in real time. You can also import an existing .md file.

    Is my content stored?

Drafts are saved only in your browser’s local storage and are never uploaded automatically. Your text is sent to the AI model provider only when you generate or refine a map.

Can it turn a long article into a mind map?

Yes. Paste an article, meeting notes, or study material of up to 12,000 characters (split longer material into parts) and AI will organize the key points into levels. The editor and Markdown file import support up to 30,000 characters.

    Which languages are supported?

The interface is available in English, Simplified Chinese, and Japanese, and you can choose the output language separately.
