Turn meeting notes into a mind map: topics, decisions, action items at a glance
Raw meeting notes are usually one long wall of text: topics interleaved, decisions buried, action items unassigned. Paste the text into the AI mind map generator and it organizes the content into a hierarchy you can review and share with your team.
Step 1: prepare your notes
Paste chat logs, transcripts, or handwritten minutes straight into the input box on the home page. No need to format first — AI finds the structure — but removing small talk and filling in dates improves results.
Generation input is limited to 12,000 characters. A long transcript may exceed that; split it by agenda item and merge the branches in the editor afterwards.
- Copy the full meeting notes
- Open the home page and paste them into the input
- Pick the General template (or Project plan if it fits)
- Click Generate mind map
Step 2: review the AI hierarchy
AI usually produces a "topic → discussion → conclusion → action items" hierarchy, but it is not guaranteed. Check three things: conclusions mistaken for action items, owners or dates attached to the wrong item, and missing topics.
You can edit wording and hierarchy directly in the Markdown editor. If the overall grouping is wrong, write "group by topic, keep action items on a separate branch" in the extra instruction box and click Expand to regenerate.
Step 3: export and share
When the map looks right, export a vector SVG or a high-resolution PNG and paste it into your team chat, email, or wiki. You can also download the Markdown source and re-import it later.

Example input
Product review 10-22
Topic 1: onboarding
- Three-step conversion is 62%, drop-off at the permission screen
- Decision: remove non-essential permissions, ask progressively (Wei, ship by 10-30)
Topic 2: Double-11 campaign
- Budget 80k, start with feed ads
- Actions: designs by 10-25 (Ting); landing page integration by 10-28 (Chao)

# Product review 10-22
## Onboarding
- 62% conversion; permission screen is the bottleneck
- Decision: progressive permission requests
- Action: Wei ships by 10-30
## Double-11 campaign
- 80k budget, feed ads first
- Action: Ting delivers designs by 10-25
- Action: Chao finishes landing-page integration by 10-28
## Next meeting
- 11-05 warm-up metrics reviewLimitations
- AI makes mistakes: owners, dates, and numbers are the most error-prone — verify before sharing.
- One generation accepts at most 12,000 characters; split longer transcripts.
- Speaker attribution is unreliable unless names are explicit in the source text.
- AI organization does not guarantee preserving the original formatting; you can manually add bold, code, and plain links in the editor, but original colors and layout are not guaranteed to carry over.
FAQ
Are my meeting notes stored?
Your text is sent to the AI model provider only when you click generate. Drafts stay in your own browser storage and are never uploaded automatically. Avoid confidential content.
Can it assign action items to people automatically?
AI organizes action items into branches but does not send notifications or create tasks. Export the map or Markdown and sync it to your task tool yourself.
What if the result drifts far from the original?
Describe the structure you want in the extra instruction box (e.g. "group by topic") and click Expand, or edit the Markdown directly.
Does it work for Chinese or Japanese meetings?
Yes. The output language can be chosen independently — for example, English notes into a Chinese map.
